Which Transducer

I have bought a humminbird helix 8 gen 3 wtih chirp, mega si, mega di.

I am after advice on which transducer will give me the best performance for the fishing i do.

I bottom fish from 80-450m and troll for pelagics in all depths in summer.

Have a look through this document. I think you’ll find what you need.

A few things to look at. Boat type, do you want side scan, transducer type - in hull, thru Hull, transom mount etc.

I would think you would need a 1 kw transducer and in my opinion for your fishing non need for side scan.
