off shore soft plastcs
Hey Guys,
sorry up front if this has been discussed before, but I was wondering how many of the off shore plastic guys use different types of rigging by that I mean rigging using jig heads vs using worm hooks and sliding sinker straight to hook which I think is Texas rigging?
I was wondering if anyone had played around with both styles and had different catch rates or specific species having a preference for one over another?
thanks in advance.

Re: off shore soft plastcs
Mate I have always used TT head locks jig heads or nitro elevator bomb jig heads but always tie a loop knot. I reckon the TT head locks work just as well as the deep drop ones and are cheaper. As for plastics I personally reckon Berkeley gulp out fish any other plastic easily. Must be that yellow juice they come in!
