I find the genuine Yamaha ones are pretty good, I know the cheap rubbish discount store ones are junk, and should be avoided except in emergencies (weekend and holiday breakdown)
Hi all,
My primer died. I used to buy a brand that was made in the US and had an eagle on the pack. I thought it was Moeller but not so sure now.
I think the main ones in terms of good quality (apart from OEM) are Sceptor and Moeller.
Any feedback on recent success/pain with bulb brands appreciated.
Cheers

OEM Yamaha and Merc and reputed to be the best. Was having some engine issues years ago and that was what my Suzuki dealer recommended.
Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....
Bought a moeller just recently and was stuffed out of the packet, went and got a genuine Yamaha and was actually cheaper!

A timely topic,
This is one thing I need to get for my new fuel set up. Might just stick to a OEM Yammi or Merc type me thinks........

I have Mako 9.5mm ID and 20mm OD fuel hose and I prefer that to OEM thin walled hose. So I won't buy a line bulb combination but keen to buy a genuine Merc or Yammy bulb. I know a good Merc dealer so I will lob down and see him.
Cheers
