Just confirming that it is a bad idea due to interference towire a bow sounder from my AGM powering my bow mount Minn Kota ?
Just lazy and looking to avoid running down to my housebattery/switch panel at the stern

If your battery has twin outlets for both neg and positive you will get no feedback from the motor. Some batteries have a std post plus a threaded connection on the battery.
Electric motors can give interference to electronics.

you can do it without any problems specially for low draw stuff. I did the same with my Seajay when I had a sounder on the bow. I still did it with a blue sea switch and fuse panel ..... I also run some LED lights under the hatches off the leccy battery. So the switch was good.

Won't know until you try. Some seem to give problems, some don't.
