I saw that the boat was held down by two small ratchet straps with no bow rope to stop the boat sliding forwards under braking.
Then I saw that the two green straps were attached to two pieces of red string.
80kmh on highway, not a problem.
What can possibly go wrong?
Yeah, that red rope at the ends would have to be the weakest point.
Forward movement would be restricted, due to the tie down going through the rowlock.
What speed did you see them doing?
Was there any flexion or movement in the hull that you could observe?
