    Further info has been released by Lowrance and Simrad re their units.

    Some legacy units may require further software updates, below are links to where you can check if your unit may need an update, and where you can register to receive the updates when released.

    Updates are now released and can be downloaded from the website.

    Fixes both the missing time and failure to lock onto satellites - in other words, load the update, and normal service is resumed.
    Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....
