Fits the description - it gave a great fight - a pic and then released - so it must be a Reef-Marlin
Went out off Mooloolaba Saturday 4am to The Banks - the fish were less then one fish to each spot and less than half a keeper. 30 spots for 20 fish for less than 10 keepers - usual pearlies-snapper-moses perch and tuskies - no monsters.
