New rod for casting lures for mackerel fishing

Hi guys, I am looking for a new rod for casting slugs for mackerel in Moreton bay. Price range $100-$150 I just want a rod that can cast a lure a long way. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

I have a Shimano Raider. I think it's a snapper roof. About 6’6". Should be in that price range when on special. Which is quite often.

I had an old 8ft 3-7kg uglystik sitting in the shed and set it up with a new 4000 Stradic reel and it’s a ripper and good fun, can lob those metals out 100m with ease!
