Thread: Finally!

    Finally!

After burning through a fair bit of fuel for no result recently, we were finally rewarded with a little bit of joy at the Cape yesterday.
Seas were messy, swell fairly significant , but we found a little patch of bait and just kept at it .
temp was nearly 26 degrees and water was COBALT BLUE

A healthy little Black, and a couple of jellybeans for sashimi today .
Thanks to MH for taking the cat out, and Anthony for perservering whilst feeling less than 100% .

    Cheers
    Brendan

    Re: Finally!

Thanks Tenzing for the report. Well done and the fish looks in great condition. Good to hear some nice blue water is around. I hope to give it another crack on Tuesday.
    Thanks again

    Re: Finally!

the fin took small lumo skirts on shotgun.

With about 10 rods on the boat, all strikes were on the new tiagra 16 ( late xmas preesent on sale) at shotgun

Marlin was on a pakula shredder ( my fave shottie lure )
