A FLATHEAD of course!

And ONLY in the central and maybe northern parts of Moreton Bay Brisbane!

I used to bring back a minimum of 6 about ten years or so ago but my local fishing brethren and the few local "flatty experts" say it is now a rarity.

Might snag a few down around the lower islands of the Bay like Lamb, Russel etc. and the Logan for sure, but that is like the Southern part of the Bay!

Anybody? Somebody? And of course exact GPS co-ords as well if you don't mind ......... and the bait please!

They're around for sure. Some easy to get to land based spots on the north side of Brisbane. Just gotta put in the hours and pay attention to technique (soft plastics).

Last time I went I caught two. That was about two weeks ago. For a few reasons I don't keep them so they might still be there!

Travelling and health has prevented me doing any for quite a few months, usually bring home a couple when I do go. I gather when you say 6 it is for you and a mate.
