iluka reef fishing

I'm going down to iluka on sunday for a fortnight
I was wondering if anyone on here has any info on close in reefs, without going too far out on my own
I have a 4-8 metre savage ranger, with a 70 4 stroke on the back
I have got my name down for a day offshore charter if they get a vacancy for one

I did much the same last year from iluka ,I went on a charter and got a few clues then took the bluefin out a few times and got some fish in similar areas . I turned right out of the bar and caught some great fish about 5 km from there in 35mt of water .
It’s a great place to fish plenty of big bream of the walls and the odd Jewie at the right times ...matt
