    Northern Bay

Late post but Ive been busy. . .
Managed a quick run across the bay for a feed of mackerel and estuary cod last week. Was almost impossible to get live bait at the markers due to the mackerel taking the live baits and the bait jigs with it. Maori Cod weren't legal, the Estuary Cod were small but legal so kept a couple and threw the rest back. Finally managed a tuskfish on a fake crab too, cant wait to get a big one. Tried slugs at the beacons on the way back and they worked a treat, gave up after a few fish and sore arms

Give a man a fish, he'll eat it and fall asleep.

Teach a man to fish and he'll endanger an entire species
