Furuno 295fcv or simrad nns evo 3

What would u prefer as ur setup for shallow and also deep up to 500mtrs furuno 295fcv or the simrad nns evo3 9"and why. thanks

two rather different systems

For deep water (which 500mt.. in many ways is). the 295 with a pedigree transducer would be a very well proven solid system. that being said the evo3 will offer more features at a lower point.
as my granny says however.. there is no free lunch, and a system that has more features for less... has to give somewhere, and Simrad would have the lesser build quality of the two.

hypothetical.. or do you have a budget you wish to adhere to?
