I've got mullet sorted but had to can the house as crew pulled out. Work also decided to give me 5 display homes that must be finished and can't get any holidays till they are done. See how it all pans out, hoping to pull a rabbit out of a hat.

I am tempted with this one. Haven't been to one of these. But you might not want another cruisecraft!

What ramps do you use there? Are there any pontoons to tie off etc?

The bleedin' planets would have to align with work etc but i really want to put the boat in up there.

Good ramp and pontoon at 1770, parking can be tough on weekends and holidays if you sleep in..

Ray, the 1770 boat ramp has 3 lanes, sort of. It has a medium sized pontoon.

Car parking can be a premium on really good days and moreso on weekends / school holidays, hence we are up there the week before school hols

The current can rip passed the ramp and make the drive on a tad interesting, but not really an issue from 1/3 tide up.

The estuary from the ramp to the first point is an issue so stay tight to the green.... avoid getting close to the starboard side of the channel.

    Thanks for the info, appreciated.

I'm more than happy not to be there on school holidays or weekends... hopefully that helps.

If I do this, hopefully driving the boat onto the trailer with current isn't a big deal as this new trailer is awesome and hard to get wrong. One of my local ramps is a bit like that and poses no problem. Couldn't say the same for previous boat/trailer and I thought that was easy enough!

    Creek update - low tide

There is a new channel starting, just north of the marker..

that marker is 20mtrs from the bank, look for rocks.

    I will be monitoring 82, 81 & 16. I have a couple of VHF's

22 is the repeater channel out wide near Muzzie and 21 further north.

I can usually hear VMR round hill and others on 82 on good days
