My son and I were going to try to get up there this year, but with his work, and me being slack, left it way too late to look for a spare spot!

I had after all these years decided on going but an op scheduled for last week cancelled that, doc said not to even think of getting on a boat for 6 weeks. Bugger always next year.

I'll be up Seventeen Seventy staying at the 1770 Camping Ground from 8-14 September. While I usually take my tinnie this year I can't because I am testing out the new camper trailer and of course I can't tow both up. Investing in a car topper soon however.

So essentially I am relegated to fishing from the beach but happy to come along for a bit of fishing with anyone wanting a deckhand!

Ill be in the white Holden Captiva and galvanised Mars camper so feel free to come over and say hi.
