Late report but still a report.
Headed off the Gold Coast in search of a marlin.
Trolled from the 36's east to the 50's and then headed toward the pin and then back towards the seaway.
Trolled skirts all day, got a small black just as the water temp hit 25, we are estimating around 30kg but we have no idea as it's the first marlin we have put in the boat.
Got bitten off by a big hoo out near the 50's and then got the smaller one back in close.
Seen only 1 bait ball back in near the 36's, no surface action all day.
