Fishing trips out from Rainbow offshore

Hi all,

I'm keen to do some weekenders if and when the weather plays ball.
Keen to head up from Brissy on friday night sleep in the boat and them go offshore Saturday, head back to Brissy sunday.
I will likely have a deckie sorted but am looking for like minded folk who will be bringing another boat along for safety in numbers.
If your interested let me know.

I'm running similar thoughts to yourself.
Planning to head north weekend of 14 Oct. weather will determine exact location but we're hoping to launch at Hervey Bay and poke around inside Fraser.

Next trip after that I'm toying with 1770 as a launch pad and see what happens.

I'll flick you a message and see if we can align some planets.

Yep I'm keen....with the long range tank now proven on recent trip to 1770 I'm keen to explore wider in other areas...... Rainbow / DI, Fraser & 1770 all on the list. Can go mid week too if anyone keen, crap load of leave built up which is earmarked for fishing! .

I am keen as mustard mate.
My line of work means I wouldn't be available till the new year, but is a place I have fished a lot from DI in a tinnie, but have the means for bigger trips out of the bar these days.

Sounds interesting. I'll keep an eye on you all. Hopefully around that date either my new pod will have been started and I will just have to read your reports or I'm free to go. Crunchy, mid week is always a goer for me.

Guys, I fish this area quite a bit (DI) and you'll be rewarded!
It's good for a meet n greet aswell, as you can stay at either inskip camping or rent a house much like 1770.
If weather goes to poo you can still beach fish, or go to pub etc.
Just be aware of thieves at camp grounds, like generators etc, unfortunately it gets hit at times but has been ok for a while.

I will be in TCB for the week from the 14th as well, got a house booked . so keen if it comes together.
