Cool Agnes Water / 1770 annual adventure. 2017

    Hi all,

As most of you know the Official M & G no longer runs.

Moving forward, many folks will still be heading to Agnes early September. Myself and a few others will be there from 1st to 9th.

For me, this is a social trip with a couple of family members as my boat crew. I will however get to the good spots in search of red coloured fish.

This years plan is to hunt Spanish within 30k's of 1770 on average days and then when the weather allows, head to the wider ( island ) grounds for RTE, Trout, Parrot, Sweeties and if lucky, Reds.

Staying at Rob's place.......... Moejoes as it ticks all the right boxes. I have stayed there before and can highly recommenced it.

I do believe the 1st, Friday night, will be Tavern night where I will catch up with others attending.

If anyone is interested in a trip to this area and haven't been before, reply below and I will provide details for you. Or if you are keen, do a search here on AF for reports. Plenty of stories and photos.

    cheers LP

As per my FB post, and the first post here, the official M & G is no longer.

Just some of us doing our own thing at about the same time of year.

I do believe I will be at the Tavern on the 1st and the 8th ( friday nights ) for food and footy
