Was i the only one who went fishing on weekend?
Gday seahorse, I went out for a while, flicked plastics for a bit and then tried a new type of vibe I found in the bargain bin at bcf yesterday for 5 bucks, I pulled 10 flathead out of a 300 metre drift, they work a treat, went back to bcf this afternoon and bought every one I could find in bargain bin, 8 in all..

Same as Alleycat, though I only managed three legals having a flick landbased.
Any size to yours, Alleycat? Mine were around the 45cm mark.

Half ur luck. I saw the bargin bin. I should had grabbed some. Thats great effort Ally. What sizes?
Kept the first 5 legals that were between 41cm and 50cm, but after that I caught and released 3 that were around 55 and a few more just legals, I find bribie passage is not a great place for big flathead, I think only one in every 50 fish I catch up there is over 60 cm..
went out saturday for about 10 flattys - notable catch's 67cm, 65cm, 54cm and 45cm. the rest just legal or under.
Went again Sunday for 6 undersize
I went up to Rainbow Beach for a beach fish on Saturday. Caught S.F.A. One undersize Bream.
I have come to the conclusion,I am not a fisherman.

Nappies and politicians should be changed regularly for the same reason..
No tug. The beaches up there are no where near as good as they use to be.
Iam heading up to the bundaberg classic this weekend, starting friday, 3 days. Weather looks ok to get outside
Thanks Seahorse. I dont seem to have much luck when it comes to fishing in Rainbow. When the comp is on I am surprised at the big fish that the same locals catch nearly every day. I agree that its hard to catch a good feed there now.
Just figured I am not much good at fishing
