Might be a better idea to find out which islands actually have fuel first.
Hamilton island is the only one that sells fuel but you will most likely have to book in. Be prepared to pay approximately 70c more than the current market value

Fuel in Airlie is actually pretty cheap. $1.16 for unleaded and $1.27 for premium (at the right garages). Stock up if you want to save money. All the marinas are pretty expensive.
