Hit the Brisbane river this morning in my kayak to chase some bass i was the only one on the water. Caught two bass around the 35cm mark and a spangled perch around 20cm all were released, first time i have caught one in the Brisbane river on a surface lure. All fish were caught on poppers tried surface walker did not get a touch also used spinner baits around the snags once the sun come up but no luck.
