    Brissy River Threadfin

Went out last night with the main point of the trip to get some muddies and have a fish while the pots soak.
4 pots, 3 returned absolutely nothing, 4th had about 7 sandies, 3 were male and of which 1 was legal....

The highlight was picking up a 97cm threadfin while I was waiting though.

Prawns were everywhere, I mean everywhere. Along every bank and on every flat they were jumping. I managed probably a bit over a kg while collecting bait. May have been able to get a bucket if I kept throwing the net but wanted to have a fish. They were mostly mediums but had a few larger ones amongst them, no small ones.

If anyone knows where I could find a muddy or two at the moment it would be greatly appreciated.

    Great thready.

Legal bucks are hard to come by at the moment from what I've experienced. Been like that for a good few weeks. Maybe some rain is needed.
