So i bought an old savage ss came with this old mercury seems to run pretty good except for idle to get it to idle at all ive had to wind the idle screw almosyt all the way out and adjust the low speed mixture all the way in.

My current thoughts are leaky needle or air leak i have replaced the hose from tank to motor and put new gose clamps were was previously zip tied internally.

Dont particulary want to spend much time or money on this as will provably get a new motor in the new year and can use it as is. Just thought there might be some easily little things to check that i have not thought of.
