After advice or companions in ballina

Hey guys. Visiting some family in ballina and am desperate to catch a feed before I leave Australia.
Have medium experience in fishing just want to know some spots or make a mate or two to go fishing with. Will be here till after Xmas.

Go on a charter

I had considered that as an option.
I do have access to a kayak to get a little further off shore or up river.
I do have two complete rod setups also.

You do realise that there have been a few shark attacks recently on that part of the coast but I guess that's up to tour but a charter sounds good . Matt

Oh for sure this year had been real bad this year for sharks.
