Trying to update lowrance - zip file won't extract

Thought I would do some software updates, Gamrin update all went to plan but trying to do software update the Lowrance HDS10 Gen 2 (Non-touch) and when I download the file and click on it, the ZIP won't extract, just the "Window's can't open this file" message comes up, I tried downloading a couple of times.....any suggestioons?

I think I had to transfer it to another folder and it changed to ups file

Thanks for the reply but that didn't work, the folder unzips but nothing happens and then clicking on the .upd file doesn't do anything...

was expecting too much form the zip file, simply drag and dropped the fle onto the SD card an away....
