Do you think this would work? Doesn't look like fun.

No gearing so immense amount of work. Replace the handle with a good 18v batter drill.
at low speeds props are less efficient than paddle wheels or in fact oars.
yeah that will work.. but it would be a lot more fun with a v8 strapped to it.. ha ha.. but seriously whod wanna paddle..
ill be somewhere up the creek, happy trails..
lol gofishin my thoughts exactly, it be quicker putting a sail on it, or as tucker said paddling... i wont go fishing unless i got some horsies pushing me along thats half the fun..

I'm happy with my 3.3 Merc. i wasn't going to buy one.... as I got my Merc for $150 and just put an impeller in .
I got a pair of oars for $20..... just wondering how many they catch.................

Just waiting for the rivers to clean up after those storms, they are brown at present.
I saw these at the Gold Coast Boat Expo earlier in the year. Certainly an interesting option but you wouldn't want to be travelling too far or against the tide.
Could be good for little estuaries off creeks like Tingalpa etc.
I like Dignity's idea of whacking an 18v drill on it. Wonder how noisy it'd be though?
For just $160 odd bucks it'd be worth an experiment.
not sure if id want an electric drill in my hand with a bit of chop flying about lol might get a free hair perm.. i agree randell if you dont want to go fast a little 3.3 or wateva is all you need to get out and about and there not too dear..
