Two way fridge issue - HELP!
Hi All,
I'm having two way fridge issues and have no idea what could be wrong (and would like to avoid having to purchase a new fridge).
It's an Electrolux RM2310 Gas / Electric.
I have run it on 240 with no issue, fridge and freezer get nice and cold.
But when I switch to gas, only the freezer gets cold (the fins at the back of the fridge are room temp).
Any ideas? Anyone had this problem?

Hi Ernie,
Just Google your problem. You may be surprised.
I had a problem with my Waeco CF80 where it was showing 40 degrees which kept it running constantly at maximum freeze.
After Googling I found that the Thermister was faulty and could get repair kits for it or send it in for repairs at $400 odd bucks.
There are plenty of youtube videos to help you find problems.
After further searching I found that Waeco install an additional Thermister as back up.
So was an easy fix of unplugging the old plug and plugging the new one in.
Easy fix which cost me 5mins to fix.
Should get another 8 years outta her now .
Cheers Rob

Re: Two way fridge issue - HELP!
Thanks Rob,
Hopefully its as easy as something like that.
I have been advised to disconnect it and turn it upside down for 24 hours (to settle the ammonia). I might try that first over the weekend.
Its strange though that it works fine on 240 but only the freezer on gas.
