Pretty much a high tide gig Phil. Pretty decisive lack of water at low tide in most areas down this way. We used to get a few good ones down behind where the caravan park is/was 20 odd year ago. (couldn't even tell you if it's still there LOL.)
Aren't you supposed to be driving around Aus
I do lots of Bream fishing from the shore (mainly ocean rocks) just like most fishing, use good bait (peeled Royal Red Prawns are great) and little or no sinker, best for me is when a high tide coincides with dark or sunrise, Breaming for us entails "prospecting" casting a few times, then moving a bit, casting again, sometimes called pot holing. Bream are pretty voracious feeders around the rocks, especially if there is a bit of wash, you will get a fish almost as soon as the bait hits the water.
Here you go Phil!
