hey guys just wanted to see if anyone could give me a few tips on running the 585 out deep. just fitted a TM260 and gave it a test yesterday in waters out to 320m. had it reading the bottom really well and was even reading bottom well on the run home at 40kmph in 300m. what im not sure about is when i declutter and colour erase am i possibly going to lose the ability to see schools of bait fish that im looking for. from memory the settings were 50khz, gain around 7.9, clutter 50%, colour erase 35%, TVG medium. when i ran it in 200khz i upped the gain to 10 (max) and couldnt get any interfence? im guessing that means i have to run 50khz in the deeper water? any help much appreciated.
