At the risk of sounding like my schooner's always half empty, I've always been a sceptic of deals that sound too good to be true. I found a site the other day based in New York advertising a Shimano 4000 electric for US$270 (about Aus$470), Same reel is generally $700ish. I sent them a message to ask some details and to get a feel for their credibility. The answer was professional and gave all details one would need for a purchase. I did a bit more online research (scamadvisor, I think) and came up with very little to non existent info about 7seasworld.com. The only 2 reviews were both negative and both said they had been ripped off by them. I dropped the whole idea. Caveat emptor. Anyone else looked at them?
