Beach Fishing at Bargara (Bundaberg)

Hey Guys,

Making my way up with the family to Bargara in late June for camping holiday. Wondering if anyone has some bait tips and locations they found helpful when fishing at Bargara beach?

Hoping to get my young fella hooked on fishing, hook, line and sinker.....just have to make sure he gets a fish

Any assistance on this matter would be appreciated. Cheers all Jason

Hi Jason,
There is not a whole lot of fishing at Bargara Beach. At the camp area there is Neilson park beach which is a little bigger and at times I guess provides the normal varieties of Bream, Whiting and Flathead. Late June is generally cold so the Bream would be the main target for that time of year. The only advice I could give is take a drive to Elliot Heads and fish the River there which has endless options.
