Headed up to bridges, not even a hit. I had plastics and mate had bait.
Moven into Hayes and mate picked up 2 keepers. Me 0
It was a nice day on water.
The tide was running fairly fast, with these higher tides.
cheers

Gday Greg, I was up drifting the banks near Donnybrook yesterday for the low tide around 5.30pm , was really quite and the only hit was from a nice fat 62cm flatty that came home for dinner, now lots will say flathead are a summer fish but ive found they just don't like warm water, and the water temp yesterday was 26 degrees, when we get a few chilly nights im betting its brings them on the bite..
I agree with Alleycat, the flathead will be stacked up there in 2 months Greg
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
