Khancoban pondage- trout- ausfish members out and about

Greetings - bit of road trip down south- catching up with loved ones over easter and opportunity to visit some old haunts. Not only the fishing spots but the great tackle stores in Albury/ Wodonga. Thank you Maso and Bluey s - you just cant go past the specialist stores.

A few days at beautiful Khancoban Pondage, leisurely chasing a few trout. Keeping it simple- bubble floats mudeyes- bank, kayak fishing in the main. Producing 8/9 brown trout up to 1.5 kg but most round 700- 800 gm.

Three kept for the pan and the remainder released.

Hi, I 'd imagine that be a one officer posting - certainly beautiful country in those parts. The caravan park has change hands. Great rep for quality/ trophy browns. Corryong as it 's Man from Snowy River Festival shortly- expect 15000 people- eeekkk - glad I got in early

Yep, it was a one man station, he was the motor registry, driver tester, police, the whole lot, he loved it there, unfortunately after some time he had to go to Sydney for promotion, only stayed for another couple of years, then gave it away, hated Sydney!
