Ali Boat, Paint The Bow Rail Yes or No

Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of re-painting my ali boat, the bow rail wasn't originally painted but im thinking of spraying it white with the rest of my boat. It dosent seem common to see the bow rail painted on ali boats is there any other reason other then it being fiddly to not paint it?

Eliminate any risk of scratching and polish it up with some Autosol...it will come up a treat.Mine did.

They don't normally get painted because they often get scratched by anchor chains, dragging crab pots over them, boat covers rubbing on them etc. If you don't mind those things or you don't have those problems go for it.
Yes getting all around the rails with good coat with a spray gun can be very difficult and nearly impossible on some model's too.
If it was me I wouldn't paint them.
