    Go for it..
I remember driving Bill Corten's outsider back before he got his current 685. It was a great riding boat. I did the bar crossing course in it and it absolutely lapped it up, i was very impressed with how it handled.

Forget the wedges, do it properly with tabs and you will enjoy the boat so much more! (and regardless of which boat you buy). Yes, costs more, but will be worth it ten times over.

Good luck with your purchasing journey.

Mate I tried the trim tabs on my boat for the first time today...they are worth ever cent
I don't think I'll have a boat without them in the future.
Cheers (spaniard King) thanks for fitting the at my house

Yep trim tabs will definatly be something im planning on putting on. Im going to enjoy spending some time with the cruise craft plan on giving the gel coat a cut and polish. Does anyone else have good ideas for a cruise craft.

+1 for trim tabs. Worth their weight in gold when you need them.

2002 model and it's had to have a transom rebuild? That would be sounding alarm bells for me.

Aparently there are alot around those years that have had transom rebuilds. Aparently the metal strip that sat along the top of transom wasnt sealed properly and allowed water into the transom. Ive seen pics and and talked to guy who redid the transom and seems like a terrific job. Should last a long time now.

I've got a 580 SF, the model where the pod is in line with the hull. Earlier models had a step there. With a 150 Suzuki, it does everything I need it to do in southern Tasmania. Love this boat.

    Good luck with your choice

I didnt read the whole thread but the Tournament is a fantastic boat for its size. Cant really speak about the other but anyone looking for a nice stable capable offshore boat, I can vouch for the tournament.

This one is for sale and I know the guy is very negotiable on price and it has all the bells and whistles already installed.
