I get to Poona maybe once in three years - so even a general area where I have to work it out myself would be helpful.
I’ve a small tinny so closer to the mainland the better. I think it is a very long shot but thank you anyway

Mate, just about the whole way along the west coast of Fraser there's a coffee rock ledge where you'll get grassies, blackall etc. Try livies there and also someone should be able to give you some idea of some spots out the front of Teebar Ck in Tin Can Bay and straight out in front of Kauri there's a spot also. Ifn you run across to the island from Poona and head north you'll get to Fig Tree and Garrys and deep creek north of that. There are good reefies along there. Good luck!
