Old Savage Escort w/ Mariner 90hp Speed Check

Hey gang, first post here cheers.

I have an old fiberglass Savage Escort circa 1979. She's still kickin believe it or not....
Just put a 1988 Mariner 90hp 3 cyl 2 stroke on it and am reaching a top speed of 58 kph in flat conditions. Does this sound right? I have an Michigan Wheel Apollo SS 19 pitch prop on it. No working tachometer unfortunately.

5.2M glass boat with an old 90. 30 knots sounds about on the money. Certainly isnt drastically outside expectations.

need to get the tacho working, if your not getting at least 5500rpm then you need to start changing things around!
