    Euro Night Crawler Worm

    Hi Folks,

I am considering starting a bait worm farm at home. Done a bit research. Now I am looking for a cheap supply of baby Euro Night Crawler Worm around Calamvale QLD. Could anyone shed some light on it?

I contacted a couple suppliers. But they had different species.

Any suggestion / comment would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Carl

Euro night crawler is a new species in Aus market. Market price is around 50c each. People said it worked far better than its African cousin. :-)

here in north America there are places where they are considered an invasive species and possession is banned. they eat up the leaf litter in forests depriving the native species of flora and fauna those nutrients and habitat.
they do make excellent fishing bait, however, and for the home gardener are very beneficial to the soil.
you may want to check your local regs.
