New to Tablelands and Australian fishing!

Hey guys. Just wanted to post a hello to this big community and hopefully make some fishing friends up in the tablelands while I am here.

Have been hitting Tinaroo with pretty low success rate (a catfish and two small perch-like fish).

I'm planning a trip to Koombooloomba dam in the very near future. I'm not 100% sure how easy it is to access in a 2WD since reading mixed reviews on the access road.

Any help advice or general chat is welcomed.

Hi Rob, the cairns and fnq fishing group is hosting a Tinaroo social and fishing comp next weekend sat 23- sun24. Catch and release compition, $10 entry , over $8000 in prizes.
