    Riggers

Can any Ausfisher that has reef rigger fitted to a Cruise Craft 625 please show me a close up photo of the fit meant so I can get the angle right. Thanks John

    Re: Riggers

If they are anything like the 685 you'll guess the first one then stand in a paddock and line the second one up then drill the holes. The 'measurements' on either side are different so don't try to do it mathematically.

    Thank you Getout.

GBC, I have cut a cardboard template and both sides are pretty close to being the same. What measurements are you meaning. Thanks.

Noted this with antenna mountings as well - subtle differences between the sides of the top molding on both this and the 625. Nothing you can see with the naked eye until you bring in other points of reference

    Re: Riggers

Yes, the sides look the same and the templates will go in the same place but the riggers will not line up. The cabin moulding isn't perfectly symmetrical somewhere. Only subtle, but enough to send you on a goose chase for a while. Literally stand 30 metres away and line them up by eye.

As GBC says, fit one and then eyeball the second to line them up. Mine are set up so that when deployed, the tip of the rigger is behind the rod holder position to reduce dropback.
