Why dont you put up the money? then you can decide which motor he gets. I think thats fair, seeing as only you know which one is the best.

I said all the 4 strokes are good. In a 60hp I would go a Yammy. Depending on the HP, different manufacturers have advantages.
As long as its not white, you will be alright.
