Nice rig mate!
Guessing around the 80 - 100k mark?
Looks a very well finished boat..
Gods country up there, love how you can go for hours out there without seeing another boat!
Different game to fishing down here around Brissy that's for sure!

Really, more than 100k for that boat?!!
A mate is building an 8.6m Sealife design kit plate boat (to survey), twin 200hp zukes on an alloy trailer (admittedly he has picked up the trailer 2nd hand for a good price) but everything else is new and finished he is going to be around the 100k mark..
Spec's and a pic are here, http://www.sealifedesigns.com/pdf/OP8000XW%20SERIES.pdf
I am curious how much are these plateys going for like this MODA boat then if I am way off?!
Sounds like my mate has done alot better with his build than even he realises if that is the case!
I have edited my post since with some specs and a pic, they look damn good to me!
And the price is coming in at 100k as the twin zukes cost him 47k with all the trimmings..
No, not self built.. that's being built by a boat builder in Mackay!
Great wall, yeh they are crap but comparing to a pusslux?!
Was the most overpriced ute on the market until the latest release after they have finally realised that they were being left in the dark ages!
Now you have me LMAO!
Very nice boat - congrats. Tick of approval from the feathered friends as well !!!
what a sad sad AB
I would love to see a break down of the costs for this 8.6metre built to survey vessel. Sounds like a weapon but price doesnt sound realistic to me.
You say he has spent 47k just on the 2 motors (is that fitted?) so that leaves you 53k to get:
-a trailer
-FULL electronics package (lights, pumps, sounders, transducers, toilet, switch panels etc)
-1 years registration for boat and trailer
-Labour to install all said electronics and wire the boat
-Labour to fit everything else into the boat and to plumb it up
-Labour to construct your flat pack of alluminium
-Full paint job
Good luck to him, hope it all goes well. It is a great/exciting experience!
Who is constructing the boat for your mate in Mackay out of curiosity?
You have to be happy with that.
Nice rig Zano
