Case of Deja Vu here as I went out 4 months ago to the same area for the same result.
Good bag of quality pearlies and one cracker snapper.
Bait was not on the menu and soft plastics accounted for 90% of the fish including the snapper.
Fish were scarce and spooked quickly with two drifts shutting down most spots so lots of moving was on the order.
