    Wanted: Marlin Broadbill 750 Sports

I've missed out on these two below in the past because of different circumstances and I think they'd be ideal for the sort of fishing I want to start doing. If anyone finds one for sale for under 55k please let me know.

Has the Townsville one gone? Thought about it a couple of times. He certainly dropped his price in the end.

Yes rang yesterday and it was sold the day before. Was ready to pull the trigger....I haven't been in one yet and it's hard to get a gauge on the deck space with the ccab being so big. How do you think it would compare to the rear of a KC?

    Haven't got a clue. You've seen the 7.2m one?

Ye saw that one mate. Looking for something like the 750 in the 50k range. That one was a bargain.

Had a bit of a quick read through an old review of Michael Diamonds 8 metre Marlin Broadbill and it says in the article it is made from 4mm plate. Would that be a bit light on for such a big boat?

I heard the old ones had some cracking issues but haven't heard of any Pelagion bow ones having troubles.

My mates father had one of the old ones for years it was called Mako Too it used to be on the add for Marlin Broadbill in the 90's fishing mags....I fished out of it a few times.....it has a few re-fits over the time he owned it they never had any cracking issues as far as i'm aware.
I can't remember the length of it for sure somewhere around the 6.5mtr mark from memory it was a great boat to fish out of though...it either had twin 70's or 90's.

It looks like I may be able to get back home in about 3 weeks. Does anyone know of a 750 or larger in SEQ that I could have a look at or maybe even get a run in?
