Getting Rid of White Rust on Gal Trailer

Understand the white stuff on a part of our Gal Trailer is White Rust ( from an old thread) Will rust converter/remover covert this stuff to an inert substance, similar to brown rust on iron, or perhaps just use CRC/RP7 after every swim.

    Thanks

I haven't worked out how to remove this stuff but I was told that it is formed because I wasn't taking the trailer for a drive after washing down the boat, hence the location of this stuff at the bottom of vertical parts and at the ends of the RHS, so I always take the trailer for a drive after washing it.

Hope someone can correct me if I am off base...it's the byproduct of the protective effect, the more you see the better the coating is doing it's job.....people who build a new aviary for birds wash the gal wire with vinegar to neutralise the new state highly reactive by product otherwise the birds can/will suck on and die.

Try some acis to calm this effect down,,otherwise be happy it's doing it's job.
