The dates for this are from Friday 9th September to Saturday 17th. This is the week before school holidays start.
If anyone would like to be a part of the Organising Committee, please PM me. The skills you will require are:-

2.. Internet and Word processor / spreadsheet savvy

4.. In the months leading up to the event, be prepared to put 1 - 2 hours a week aside to deal with shit
Further, we ask for sponsorship to assist with running the show, this never seems to be a problem as I believe shirt sponsors get great value for their $'s.
Having said that, we are always on the look-out for other types of sponsorship, raffle prizes, donations, vouchers etc. Let's not forget we have a few wives, GF's and kids attending and want to make them feel at home during the event.

At all times the M & G is a social event, with fishing a bonus. We encourage safety on the water and land.
In recent years, many have chosen to make this a 2 or even 3 week adventure. Personally, I was there for 3 weeks this year. That gave me many opportunities to take advantage of good weather.
If you intend to go and want to book accommodation ( house ) call Michelle at PRD Agnes Water, tell her you are an Ausfish member and what size and number of boats & people you have. At all times make sure the house you rent is boat friendly.

Get in early, sort your house, deckies, housemates, bait, GPS marks, trip planning and check all boating safety equipment is in date and compliant. VHF Radio check, trailer bearings, lighting on trailer and boat.
We have had very few " issues " over the years and would like to keep it that way.
We will start taking numbers, names etc some time in the new year.
