    Gold Coast Seaway 25/9/2015

School holidays and finally some time to finish off the refit to my tinnie. I needed to replace and recarpet the floor, rewire and install new bait tank & bilge pumps, fit a colour sounder, got broken ribs welded, and put in a few more rod holders.

Keen to get out, I decided to face the wind the last couple of mornings and to my surprise it wasn't actually to hard to fish in it. The Seaway had some good fish in attendance bagging a couple of reasonable Jew at 76 & 77cm with a few smaller fish between 72-75cm released. Got dusted by a much bigger fish and also a dropped what looked to be a fish well over a metre about 5m from the boat when the hooks pulled. Released plenty of Bigeye trevally and a small Kingfish. Also got a nice 68cm Flathead and a 5kg Estuary Cod to add some flavour to the bag.

Whilst cleaning the fish in the back yard the little fella throw in a bait and landed a 41cm Bream which he was very happy with. Please excuse the panted finger nails but his two older sisters had been using him as a test case for nail painting.

Couple and pics and video attached. Enjoy.

One of the toughest blokes on earth, MMA fighter Chuck Liddell, paints his nails, so no need to mention it. Looks like a good session.
