I would think that you might need to set up communications with a good marine mechanic who can come out and deal with any issues.
You might also need a local to be a site manager.........
G'day folks,
I am putting it out to those that fish the saltwater off the Queensland Central Coast and in particular, those that travel to get there and stay either over-night or a couple of weeks.
I know most of the long term visits, people rent holiday houses, stay in Van parks etc, so:-
What about a dedicated Fishing Lodge / Park. ?
Accommodation would be in " donga " type buildings that sleep 4 ( each has a kitchen ), communal showers & laundry & loos shared between 8 people maximum. ( shared between 2 dongas )
Covered Common area between dongas with BBQ, fire pit, seating
Drive through road and parking ( no reversing )
Boat and Trailer wash ( reverse into concrete freshwater pool to drown trailer )
Fish cleaning station at each building
Long Term boat storage facility
Privacy and security, being on large acreage
Option of camping / camper trailer
A dedicated covered area with stage, bar, seating, huge TV for large gatherings
within 10 minutes of an all weather/ all tide boat ramp......
1...What other facilities would you like to see at this type of place ?
2.. Is this something you would consider staying at ?
3.. Any other suggestions / questions ?
please respond with all thoughts...
cheers Phill

Remember to always log on before heading offshore.
A deep freezer some were to store fish and ice machine to make ice for sale.
How much you going to charge per night when you open this Phil?
A pool nothing like doing a walrus imitation after a day covered in salt spray and pilchard slime.
Fish cleaning station away from the buildings, or wash down for the table.
Fish frame disposal bins. $$
You could ditch the fresh water pool, for some simple pop up sprinklers..
Tank water for Drinking.
Ice machine good Idea.. Likely to be abused tho.
Camping Area good Idea..
A single snorers lodge, Something with an outside lock. although it might be full all the time.
Maybe an awning or something on the side of the donga for eskies, portable fridges and the like..
Also need an area to outside the donga with a bit of cover.. Maybe lattice fence between..
Regards
Honda.
Private Booze Bus
Jeep repair station?
One or two of these

i would expect a very good wash down area like a fresh water pool or a couple of high pressure hoses as suggested already..
a couple of undercover outdoor areas with bbq and beer fridge so whilst talking crap no need to head back to the donga unless ice is readily available for the eskys...
maybe even a rigging area like rod holders around the base of the tables to put your rods in whilst you are rigging for the next day . as this is what i do in musgrave after dinner i rig all my rods for the next day ...
other than this blokes are pretty simple creatures ....location will be a big part
maybe even have a wall with generic GPS marks for people to start fishing JUST STARTER MARKS lol
hope it goes well phill
happy days ahead summer is coming
Masseuse, happy endings? (Female)😎
Depends how flash you want to get - individual lock up under cover storage is always nice. Tackle shop at reception. Bar/dinner facilities so you don't have to worry about the drive back from the pub if you have gotten a bit joyful after a day out, on site refuelling so there is no need to stop at the servo would be really good. Fresh bait supplies. Pre packed breaky/lunch facilities (order in advance). You want to set it up so the only travelling punters have to do is from the property to the ramp and back again.
