Colour of New Canopy, Side Curtains and Storm Cover
1/2 Cabin boat has a Cream cabin, Lime? Green sides and Cream hull. Existing cover set is Cream. Windscreen frame above the 1/2 cabin is black.
I am happy with Black Sunbrella, but Partner says that black will show the dust and wants Beige 4620-0000 ( next to black on the colour chart). I think most canopys are in black and beige could cost more/ longer wait to buy in material.

Boat kept in a garage but red bottle brush dust seems to get in.
Existing setup is a plastic type material and have had no problems over its 20+ year life.
Its an expensive purchase so would prefer not to be told " I told you so"
Thanks

Black will definitely stay cleaner than beige especially if you use sunbrella

I've got factory black Sunbrella on a 9 year old Searay which is penned at a marina and it still looks like new.
I also went black on my Quintrex when I had a new bimini made up.
I also don't mind the navy.
I would only go a lighter colour for reason of heat rejection, otherwise darker colours will look better longer.

There are plenty of boats with the beige colour scheme - just not so many that I've seen on trailers - mainly cruisers in the marina. It will all depend on your use - do you fish because if you do I would suspect what the lads have said in regard to the beige will be a killer the first time a decent fish decides to flog around and bleed at the same time.
