Since I've been living under a rock with very young children I've missed these technology advances in sonar . Quick question can you retro fit the dragon fly technology to an older unit with a second transducer etc like other brands eg structure scan
Sounder technology is based on the software the unit runs and the type of transducer specified... the only integration that may work is to use a new head unit with an old transducer, which will if the head unit is smart enough revert back to the old technology so it can show a reading. You will also run into problems of plugging in an old transducer into a new head unit..Plugs are different.. there are switchboxes available by some brands to bare the wires and connect them to a switchbox but that's for more high end stuff

Short answer to your specific question re dragonfly, is no.
Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....
